SHLOHMO
"This is some ill new new. Brought to your speakers from LA via SF. Shlohmo, a 19 year old beat heat bringer. I first saw his name up on the XLR8R blog a few months back, this week they posted a pretty rad PODCAST that he made. Its got some unreleased exclusive of his own, as well as some tracks from his compatriots in the WEDIDIT collective, which he helps run. These young west coastians are inspiring with their drive and their sounds. And they are helping to push what now seems to be a legendary LA beat scene. Its good to see and hear these young voices!
Grab Shlohmo's Free EP from Error Broadcast. Its a crunchy mess of hazy dust storm atmospherics, white noise snares , and pumped up thumpy compressed as hell kick drums. Im feeling it! This is some West Coast music. Head music for the heads.
Big knods to Shlomho."
